a transition is when there is movement as one slide changes to another. power point has many different transitions.

slide sorter view

what slide sorter view does is it shows all slides in a miniature size in a horizontal. these mini slides are called thumbnails.

slide show view

slide show view is used for presentation to an audience.

slide masters

The slide master is one of many master slides that are used in power point to make global changes to all your slides at one time.

slide finder

The Slide Finder feature allows you to search for slides when you are in a slide show. Pro Tools for PowerPoint adds a new menu item in your menu when you right-click on the slide show.

slide design

PowerPoint comes with a gallery of design templates to choose from, but you can also create a template of your own and add it to the Slide Design task pane. Starting from a blank design, you can apply such elements as a background and color scheme, font style, and art.
